We’re excited to share two important updates: the release of HBook version 2.1 and the launch of the new Maestrel Resource Center. These developments are designed to enhance your experience both in managing bookings and accessing the support you need.

## A Powerful New Way to Request Payments

Version 2.1 of HBook introduces [Payment Links](https://maestrel-resource-center.refined.site/space/HD/34734083/Payment+settings#Payment-link-page), a long-awaited feature that allows you to easily request payments from your customers.

You can now generate and send secure payment links for:

- Deposits
- Remaining balances
- Security bonds
- Custom amounts

These links currently support Stripe, with more payment gateways to follow soon. They can be inserted into your [email templates](https://maestrel-resource-center.refined.site/space/HD/34668598/Email+settings#Upon-an-event) or sent manually, and can even be used to prompt customers to add a payment method for future charges or refunds.

## Seamless and Branded Payment Experience

When a customer clicks a payment link, they’re taken to a dedicated payment page hosted on your website — ensuring a smooth, branded experience without external redirects. You can display a reservation summary and payment history on the page, and optionally redirect users to a custom “Thank You” page after payment. ## Improved Payment Tracking and History

Version 2.1 also makes it easier to manage payments:

- Record manual payments directly within HBook
- View a full history of payments per reservation
- Display payment history in documents and email templates
- Access payment summaries within invoices

## The New Maestrel Resource Center – All in One Place

Alongside the plugin update, we’ve introduced the [Maestrel Resource Center](https://maestrel-resource-center.refined.site/) – a central hub for all product documentation, guides, and support. It now includes:

- Updated documentation for HBook, payment gateways, and the Adomus and Lavilla themes
- Step-by-step instructions to configure features, troubleshoot issues, and get the most out of our tools
- Full translation of the Knowledge Base in Spanish and French

## A Smarter Support Experience

- Choose from clearly defined request categories
- Submit support tickets with all necessary details
