You will use the Reservation summary shortcode or bloc to display a summary of the reservation.

There are 2 cases where you will use the “Reservation summary”:

- **Thank you page**: when you redirect the customer to a specific [“Thank you” page](https://maestrel.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/91586867) for the confirmation of the reservation, it is required to add a reservation summary on that page.
- **Payment links**: on the payment page, when using [payment links](https://maestrel.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/89817095), you may wish to display a summary of the reservation.

## Shortcode [hb_reservation_summary]

Use the **[hb_reservation_summary]** shortcode in your "Thank you" page if you use the "thank_you_page_url" parameter in a booking form shortcode. When customers are redirected to your "Thank you" page, they will see the reservation confirmation screen with the summary of the reservation.
